Do you think the last part of the YouTube video is the most insignificant? It’s in vain! End screens (YouTube outro) are a great promotion tool. It helps YouTube channel creators draw additional attention to their videos and further motivate viewers to subscribe!
With their help, you can recommend other videos in the video, offer to subscribe to the channel and encourage viewers to take other actions.
YouTube end screens appear at the end of the video and are visible on both computers and mobile devices. Their duration is 5 to 20 seconds.
YouTube outros are made up of elements to which you can add calls to subscribe to your channel, as well as links to videos and playlists or third-party sites. Please note that sometimes the end screens are not displayed. For example, this happens if the video is playing in the background. Also, the layout of the elements changes depending on the size of the screen.
- You can add up to four elements to one splash screen, for example, three links (to another video, an approved site, and your friend’s channel) and a call to subscribe.
- When editing your cutscenes, remember to leave time for the end-saver at the end.
- Please note that tooltip teasers and the channel logo are not displayed during the end screensaver.
Videos under end screens can be very different: from static pictures with music to specially edited videos.
One of the options for end screens on YouTube is choosing a template (preferably dynamic to attract more attention) with thankful for viewing and an offer to subscribe or watch other videos.
