If you are stuck and don’t know what you want to film and what content you want to create on your channel you might be interested in this. I will quickly tell you how it works for me.
Whatever you do, especially at the beginning of your journey, you might not always have enough imagination to implement your projects.
So what to do?
My advice is very simple. Watch how people did it before you. Based on people who I know, not everyone knows it. Actually, I didn’t know either.
I will give you a couple of examples from my experience: ⠀ ⠀
1. I made soap and candles, and a long time ago I had my little online store. I knew how to do it, I knew the technology, but I didn’t have enough imagination to carry out the designs themselves, how they should look like.
I took a look at Pinterest and searched for other handmade works and it really helped. I got my own idea to create a new design by myself.
2. When I was an HTML coder, I always made up websites from the finished designs. And when I wanted to do something for myself, I lacked the imagination to come up with a design.
So, I went to the websites where you can buy designs and a lot of different stuff for you and watched them, which was popular at that moment and I came up with my own ideas to do my own website.
3. Video editing. I know how to work with editing software, but I can’t always quickly and easily implement the idea – I need to come up with a style, transitions, and where and how the text will appear.
As I did before, I went to different youtube channels to watch some modern video tutorials and I always got the inspiration after that.
And there are a lot of examples like these when we know HOW to do something, but don’t have enough imagination / inspiration to carry it out. ⠀
I do not suggest you copy someone exactly or steal. NO. The main point is INSPIRATION from others’ work!⠀
When we look at other people’s work, we see many ideas for how to implement our own. This expands our horizons.
There are so many free resources and many ways to improve ourselves. So, don’t be afraid to take inspiration from others!
